New features include the facility for the prompt screen to turn green as an indication of when to speak. Also a facility to make the PC beep as a similar indicator. Recently it has come to our attention that the synchronisation sometimes fails when the microphone picks up an echo of the beep from the box. A solution to this problem is to set the "Sync" option to "internal tone" only and use these new indicators to prompt the speaker instead.

Recent features include a "Closure" analysis value created which represents the extent of closure from left to right across the palate. Values of 75% and above represent complete closure. Values of 40-75% represent a groove pattern. Also the filter options have been extended to refine the search capabilities.

New features include an "RMS" band limited energy measure. This can be used to find sections of speech. There is also a new facility for writing out selected regions of a waveform or EPG sequence to file in order to load it into another program.

The movie export function now allows a video compression codec to be selected. Selecting "Microsoft Video 1" codec should allow the video to be played in any Windows application including powerpoint.
